for those of you who haven't heard yet . . .

Gennie has Mono. She had a crazy high fever last thursday and they called from school for me to come get her. They suggested I get her tested for swine flu because of the fever so I took her to the clinic and they tested for flu, strep, and mono. Mono, it is! She's been better since the fever went away and wanted to return to school today so I took her and chatted with her teacher - the dr said she should be better sometime after Christmas. No PE for a month and she has to take it easy at recess but she can go to school as long as her fever doesn't return.

Anyway, all that to say we had quite the weekend. I'm happy to get back to life today, even if it is a monday!
